Attachment as Frequency

A Nervous System Approach to Secure Attachment for Non-Speaking Autistic and Sensory-Sensitive Children

What if secure attachment isn’t something you teach, but something you transmit?

Attachment as Frequency is a deeply reflective, trauma-informed course that reframes connection through the lens of nervous system regulation, co-regulation, and embodied presence.

Rather than focusing on behaviour management, this course explores how safety is felt in the body, long before it is understood in words.

Designed especially for parents of non-speaking or neurodivergent children, this course blends attachment theory, nervous system science, and lived experience into a grounded and practical framework you can return to again and again.

This is not a strategy-heavy course. It is a presence-based one.

What You Will Learn

Across six modules, you’ll move from understanding attachment theory to embodying a harmonic home environment.

Module 1: The Resonant Foundation

Attachment as frequency, not just behaviour

  • Understanding attachment theory

  • Internal Working Models

  • Secure and insecure patterns

  • Reframing attachment through nervous system awareness

Module 2: Co-Regulation & Nervous System Safety

Safety is transmitted, not instructed

  • What co-regulation truly is

  • How the autonomic nervous system governs behaviour

  • Why adult regulation precedes child regulation

  • How meltdowns can be reduced through early attunement

Module 3: Co-Regulation as an Embodied Language

From mirror neurons to waveform entrainment

  • Mirroring and relational synchrony

  • How children absorb adult nervous system states

  • Tone, posture, and rhythm as communication

  • Moving from fixing to field-holding

Module 4: Beyond Words

The Language of Presence

  • Presence before language

  • Listening with the body

  • Behaviour as communication

  • Silence as trust

Module 5: Anchoring the Field

Breath, Tone & Ritual

  • Breath as nervous system anchor

  • Tone as emotional transmission

  • Micro-rituals for daily regulation

  • Creating sensory rhythms in the home

Module 6: Trust & The Harmonic Home

  • Parenting from a field of trust

  • Honouring neurodivergence

  • Repair over perfection

  • Living the harmonic way

What Makes This Course Different

This course does not aim to “fix” your child.

It supports you in stabilising the relational field.

You will learn how to:

  • Respond instead of react

  • Repair instead of perfect

  • Slow instead of escalating

  • Trust instead of control

The goal is not compliance.
The goal is nervous system coherence.

Course Format

  • Fully self-paced

  • Reading-based lessons

  • Reflective journaling prompts

  • Practical regulation practices

  • Optional video resources
